Good News Groups
At Good News Church, we believe growth happens best in community. Our Group Ministry exists to help people connect with others, and grow in God’s Word. We offer two types of groups designed for different seasons of spiritual growth and connection.
Home Groups
Home Groups are open to anyone and meet periodically throughout the year for about eight weeks at a time. These mixed-gender, cross-generational groups focus on Christian fellowship centered around God’s Word. Whether you’re new to the church or have been part of Good News for a while now, Home Groups are a welcoming place to build relationships and encourage one another in faith.
The next round of Home Groups will begin in January 2026! Look for announcements during our services and here for when the next session begins!
Discipleship Groups (D-Groups)
D-Groups are smaller, closed groups of 4–5 people who meet regularly to go deeper in their walk with Christ. These are closed to new members after the initial group is formed to allow for deeper confidential conversations. These gender-specific groups emphasize accountability and growth in the personal spiritual disciplines—Bible Reading, Prayer, and Scripture Memory. D-Groups provide a setting for honest conversation, mutual encouragement, and intentional discipleship.

Reading Plans
In 2026 we have sensed the need for some flexibility in the reading plan options. We recognize that we have people who are in different places in their discipleship journey as well as different seasons of life. So instead of announcing one reading plan for the entire church, we wanted to offer several to choose from!
The F260 Plans and the 5 Day Full Bible Plans have 5 readings per week.
The 2 year reading plan is a 7 day plan.

Scripture Memory
Scripture Memory is an important part of each D-Group. The F260 Plans above have memory verses attached to each week. The others do not.
